Let’s talk side hustles. It seems that is is becoming more and more common for the millennial generation to have side hustles. Honestly, it really is not that surprising. Many of us spend 4+ years in college, only to come out and land an entry level job with a lower than expected salary, because well, today’s economy, am I right?
We are expected to work our way up in a company to gain “experience”, but are also plagued with student loan debt that we took on so that we could gain “experience” through education. Ugh. I could rant about it all day.
But anyway… many of us have opted to take on side hustles to help us generate a little extra income.
If you haven’t gone down the side hustle road yet, then this post is made for you! There are so many reasons having a side hustle is a great idea:
- Can help you get out of debt
- You can save your side hustle money to travel
- Help pay your bills
- Save for education
- Save for something special you want to buy (for example, a vehicle)
- Have extra spending money
- Pay off student loans faster
- Pay off your mortgage faster
- Pay off any additional debt faster!

This is my own personal choice in side hustle. I absolutely LOVE blogging, and the fact that I can bring in a side income from it is just a bonus. There are various ways that you can create an income from your blog, some options include:
